River Country Cabins is the perfect choice for a great get away for two or the place to bring the whole family.  We offer a comfortable and relaxing place for you to spend your vacation.  The cabin sleeps six with ease and eight using the futon in the living area. There is one bedroom downstairs, with a queen sized bed, a sleeping loft with two full beds, a full kitchen and a full bath with tub and shower unit. Our cabin is smoke-free but do enjoy the two large porches. We provide towels BUT not for the river! All linens are provided also. 
 
Located just two miles from the beautiful Buffalo National River, you can spend your time canoeing or hike one of the many river trails.  There are lots of places to swim or to enjoy a picnic.  We have local wildlife in the national park that include deer, elk, bobcat, beaver and the occasional black bear.  Most are rather shy so you don't see them often, but don't forget your camera just in case!.

Our cabin has everything you will need for a great family vacation.  We offer a full kitchen to suit your needs or you can cook out on the grill.  All you need to bring is your food.
If you don't feel like cooking we are just a couple of miles from Big Springs Trading Company, the area's best smoked meat and BBQ restaurant. You can get everything from summer sausage to a great rack of ribs. 
 
THERE ARE LOTS OF THINGS TO DO CLOSE BY.

We are an hours drive from all of the shows that Branson, MO has to offer.  About the same distance the other direction is Blanchard Springs Caverns or Mountain View, AR another great day trip for the family. Hurricane river cave is just minutes up highway 65, and is a great small, cave tour.  Also, it's just 15 minutes to one of the country's few drive-in movie theatres located in Marshall,  AR!
 
DIRECTIONS:
IF YOU'RE COMING FROM THE NORTH YOU WILL TURN ABOUT 2 MILES SOUTH OF ST. JOE, IF YOU ARE COMING FROM THE SOUTH YOU WILL TURN ABOUT 2 MILES NORTH OF THE RIVER.  YOU TURN ON HWY 333, BESIDE FERGUSON COUNTRY STORE AND RESTAURANT.  THEN GO 3/4 OF A MILE AND TURN LEFT ON GAS ROAD.  IT IS THE SECOND CABIN AND IT HAS A SCREENED PORCH ON THE BACK.
